The Service

What's Included
In Every Screen Clean

Screen cleaning is more than a quick rinse. We remove every layer — dust, pollen, oxidation, insect debris, and mineral deposits — so air flows freely and your windows look their best.

Screen Removal & Reinstall

Screens are carefully removed, cleaned flat, and reinstalled snugly — no warping, no missing clips.

Mesh Deep Wash

Gentle solution applied to mesh, agitated with a soft brush, then rinsed clean. Removes pollen, dust, spider webs, and debris.

Frame & Spline Wipe-Down

Every aluminum or vinyl frame scrubbed clean. Rubber splines cleared of dust and oxidation buildup.

Track & Channel Clean

Window tracks and slide channels cleared of dirt, dead insects, and debris so screens slide smoothly after reinstall.

Damage Inspection

We flag any tears, holes, bent frames, or missing hardware during the clean. No surprises after we leave.

Final Rinse & Check

Pure water final rinse to eliminate any soap residue. Screen is held up to light and checked before reinstall.

Our Standards

What We Never Do

Screens are fragile. The wrong tool or technique stretches mesh, bends frames, and voids warranties. We won't cut corners.

High-Pressure Washing
Pressure destroys mesh and pushes water behind frames.
Abrasive Brushes or Pads
Scratches fiberglass and stretches fine insect mesh.
Harsh Chemical Solvents
Bleach and ammonia degrade mesh material and discolor frames.
Forcing Bent Frames
If a frame is bent we'll tell you — not force it and crack the spline.
Leaving Screens Dripping
Screens are air-dried or wiped before reinstall to prevent water intrusion.
Skipping the Track
A clean screen in a dirty track just moves the grime. We clean both.
Schedule

How Often Should
You Clean Your Screens?

Frequency Best For Why
2× per year Most homes Spring pollen + fall leaf debris — the two biggest buildup seasons.
3–4× per year Wooded lots, near fields Higher pollen count and more airborne debris means faster clogging.
After storms All homes Rain drives debris into mesh. Wet grime dries hard and is tougher to remove later.
Monthly or quarterly Commercial properties High-traffic buildings accumulate exhaust residue, grease, and dust faster.

FAQ

Common Questions

Yes — for most window screens we remove them, clean them flat on a clean surface, then reinstall. This gives a much better result than cleaning in place and lets us properly scrub both sides of the mesh.

Yes. We use pH-neutral cleaning solutions that are safe for painted, anodized, and powder-coated aluminum frames. If a frame has loose or flaking paint we'll flag it before cleaning.

Absolutely. Heavy-duty pet screen is thicker than standard mesh and handles our soft wash process well. We adjust brush pressure based on the mesh type — nothing gets scrubbed harder than it needs to be.

We photograph and document the screen's condition before removal. If we find existing damage we'll show you immediately. Any damage that occurs during our service is on us — we'll communicate clearly and make it right.

Yes. Most second-floor screens can be removed from inside. For screens that require exterior access we use appropriate ladders and work safely. We'll let you know if anything is inaccessible during the booking process.

Screen replacement is not currently part of our service — we focus on cleaning only. If we find a screen that needs replacement we'll let you know so you can source a replacement through your preferred vendor.

Yes — and we recommend it. Cleaning screens while the windows are also being washed means everything gets done in one visit and the results are seamless. Ask about our combo pricing when you book.
